Vaccine Preventable Disease
Contact your local county health department for approval prior to submitting the following:
- Measles - IgG and IgM ELISA, active disease
- Mumps - IgG ELFA and IgM IFA, active disease
- Rubella - IgG ELFA and IgM ELISA, active disease
Immune Status Serology
- Immunity testing for measles, mumps, and rubella is available for local and state health department employees only.
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Referrals
- Specimens for referral to the CDC must be submitted to state health departments for appropriate processing. The Diagnostic Immunology Laboratory will forward specimens from NYS residents to the CDC.
